“Scenes From Childhood” and Raymonds

As a child there were some iconic ads that I grew up watching. The Cadbury’s Dairy Milk ad is one. The other is the Raymond’s “Complete Man” ad.

xkcd’s etch-a-sketch

Debian’s version 4.0 was called Etch. It was named after the etch-a-sketch in Toy Story, following Debian traditions of naming it’s versions after Toy Story characters (the current version, 5.0, is called Lenny).
