  cud anyone tell me how many ckwl seats do we have in mumbai rajdhani….i booked ckwl 36,37 in 8.05 in the morning..so what are the chances i may get a confirmed ticket.Also when wud i come to know abt my confirmed ticket as i have to travel 300 kms to get on board on mumbai rajdhani.

  Hi, I tried to book a tatkal ticket for my son from Bangalore to Chennai for 16th morning. I had to struggle for more than 15 minutes to get into the proper booking system. When I booked it showed the availability as 11 and after confirming and effecting payment it was confirmed under CKWL 10 and the waiting list got moved to 9 now. Is there a fair chance for the ticket to be confirmed. Why the system hangs up many a time and shows service unavailable etc. while trying to book?

  It is a bitter experience with popular site of IRCTC. I tried to book a tatkal ticket. I started before 8.00 am. Hardly I could check tatkal ticket at 8.02 by the time of IRCTC and it was showing the status as waiting list for tatkal tickets. When I proceeded further I was not getting leptcha(the image which is there for verification of manual effort). I tried many times but all in vain. When it got sufficiently delayed and I lost the hope of getting tatkal booking I thought to give one more hit and then this leptcha started appearing. this may be due to excess load on server of some hack to prevent common people from booking tatkal. In both of the cases it needs attention of the concerned people. Either it can be scaled to bear the load at peak time or it can be corrected if it is some human effort to remove or rename the image folder for some time.

  hi today i booked tatkal ticket for my father and sister from PUNE to Gorakhpur the train has 210 seats in Tatkal Quota. At the time of making payment it was showing some 37 seats available but when the final ticket came, among the two ticket one was CNF and the other was CKWL 1 so what r the chances of getting the other ticket confirm. should i tell them to take the chance or should i contact some agent to get ticket of some other date. As he is an old man and travelling wid only one confirm ticket will be difficult for him. What should i do… ??

  Tatkal seats are there,but you can’t book because before one mint its not 8 hour n after one mint it is in waiting.it is possible to book only through counter n still you know only agent get at the counter not the normal people because they are in waiting.I think on counter they take money,after all govt employee can’t live on salary.

  It means your ticket is in Waiting List 73. It’s difficult for the ticket to get confirmed – depends on the particular train and many factors
